Cancellations by the Customer:

Hostelsincity encourages users to communicate with each other on the hostelsincity platform to resolve any possible issues that may lead up to an Booking cancellation. Cancelling an Booking should be the last option to consider, however if there are any violations to our Terms of Service or a justifiable reason to consider cancellation, please provide a brief but detailed explanation to our Customer Support. Cancellations performed by Customer Support can be done, when eligible, within a time period of 24 hours of placing the Booking and the Booking has not been processed by us, we will be able to cancel the Booking and refund the entire amount to you. We will not be able to cancel those Bookings that have already been processed and shipped out by us.

Cancellations by or Hostel owner:

Reasons :

  1. Delay in your arrival time.
  2. Inaccurate or Insufficient Address.
  3. Problems Identified By Credit and Fraud Detection Department.


How do I cancel my Booking?

ou can cancel your booking any time before 1 day but it cannot be cancelled after 1 day. Just click on Cancel button against your booking in My bookings under My Account.Once your cancellation request is created, we will ensure that the cancellation is processed as soon as possible and refund will get initiated.

How long will it take to refund my money?

Once you request the cancellation of bookings , it will take us a maximum of 3-4 business days to cancel the booking and initiate a refund if applicable. You will be notified of the same by email. However, it may take up to 7-10 business days for the respective banks to process the refund. Please get in touch with our customer care in case of any delays post confirmation of cancellation/refund by hostels in city.

Cancellation charges?

Once cancellation is confirm by Hostelsincity or Hostel Owner amount will be refunded after deducting 10% on total booking amount.
